Hi, I’m Lyndsay

A makeup artist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

I didn’t train in makeup in my twenties.

I came to it later, at the same stage of life as most of the women I work with now.

That matters because I know what it feels like when your skin starts to change and your makeup stops working the way it used to.

Why I focus on Women over 40

Most of us were never shown how to update our make up.

We learned once, then just kept doing the same thing.

But skin changes. Eyes change and confidence can take a dip.

You can end up

  • Using the same products for years

  • Buying new products but not knowing how to use them

  • Feeling like nothing sits right any more.

I see this every day and I know how to fix it.

The Women I work with

Most of the women who come to me feel that their makeup just isn’t working anymore.

They’ve been doing their makeup the same way for years. They’ve tried new products, watched the tutorials but still nothing sits quite right.

Makeup that used to work now looks heavy, skin doesn’t respond the same way and makeup suddenly looks ageing.

What I’ve learned from working with them

You just need a few of the right products

You don’t need a complicated routine

You need to understand what’s changed and how to adjust your makeup to suit the changes.

That’s the part most women have never been shown

How I work

I keep things simple and practical

You don’t need a full makeup overhaul. A few key changes make a real difference.

Whether I’m teaching you how to apply your own makeup, applying it for you or doing a masterclass to 100 people, my focus is always the same. Skin that looks fresh, features that look lifted and a finish that still feels like you.

I focus on

  • Using light layers

  • Product placement

  • Textures and colours that suit you

  • Practical and sustainable tips and techniques

My Studio

I work from my beautiful station on Bloomfield Avenue, East Belfast

It’s a calm welcoming space where you can take your time and feel at ease. There is no rush, no pressure, no judgement

The studio is set up with individual makeup stations, so whether you’re coming on your own or as part of a group, you’ll have your own space to follow along and practice.

It works just as well for 1:1 appointments as it does for small group sessions, The overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming.

Most of my clients tell me it’s like spending time with a friend rather than a formal appointment.

A bit more about me

I’m 48 and a mum of three so I understand how busy life can get and how easy it is to put yourself last

I didn’t always work in makeup. I worked for 14 years in Department of Justice before deciding to make a change.

During Covid I started teaching myself makeup through an online course. At the time I was feeling overwhelmed and needed something for myself. It quickly became a creative outlet that would eventually change the course of my life.

I realised that so many women felt the same. Busy, stretched and starting to lose a bit of themselves.

That’s what led me to change direction and build a career in makeup.

Now, helping women feel more confident in how they feel about themselves is at the heart of everything I do.

Ways to work with me

You can come to me in a way that suits you

  • 1:1 makeup lessons tailored to you and your routine

  • Small group lessons and in-studio sessions

  • Events, Masterclasses and Guest Speaking

  • Online options for learning from home

Whether you want to learn how to do your own makeup, come along with friends or book me for an event, I’ll guide you in a way that feels easy and natural.
