Hello! I’m Lyndsay, owner of Dollypond Makeup Studio. I discovered my passion for makeup later in life, after many years in a different career. During Covid I fell completely in love with makeup, teaching myself application techniques and then learning to work on others. I made the bold decision to leave my previous job and dedicate myself to building a sustainable makeup business. Starting in September 2021 at my dining room table, I offered makeup applications and lessons, and by Christmas, I was fully booked. I then set up a garage studio where I honed my skills and grew my client base before investing in and renovating my beautiful studio on Bloomfield Avenue.

Since then I have worked hard to develop my reputation in soft beautiful makeup applications, specialising in mature skin, teaching other women how to apply their makeup and hosting events and masterclasses. I have been invited to speak at a number of events in relation to building a business and developing confidence and now spend time in my busy studio, working with clients, holding 1:1 and group makeup lessons, bridal work, corporate masterclasses and events.

Sharing my secrets as to how to hone your skills, build your business and become successful fast, as well as give you confidence to attract and service clients is my forte and I can wait to tell you what I know.
